Full day game drive inside Nairobi National Park
Enter the park early to enjoy excellent wildlife viewing before temperatures rise. Your guide will explore the open savannah plains, acacia woodlands, riverine forests, and seasonal wetlands to search for lions, black rhinos, buffaloes, cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, and zebras. To maximize your sightings, your guide will continuously communicate with other rangers and drivers inside the park.
Continue exploring different habitats where wildlife activity shifts as the morning progresses. Depending on recent tracking reports, your guide will take you to iconic park locations such as the Athi Basin, the historic Ivory Burning Site, Kingfisher Picnic Area, Hyena Dam, or along the Mbagathi River. This extended time allows you to capture unique photographs, including the iconic contrast of wild animals against the Nairobi city skyline.
Enjoy a relaxing lunch break surrounded by nature at one of the park's designated scenic spots, such as the Kingfisher Picnic Site, Impala Observation Point, or Mokoyiet Picnic Site. Travelers can either bring a packed lunch or arrange these meals in advance.
After lunch, continue your wildlife adventure across sections of the park that are quieter during the warmer afternoon hours.
