Safari Details

On this Safari you will visit two of Kenya’s biggest parks. The two intertwined parks contain some fantastic terrain, including rivers, lakes, tarns, glaciers, and peaks with a wide variety of vegetation, including grasslands, acacia vegetation, open plains, and savanna. It is therefore recognized as one of the world’s leading bio-diversity strongholds. Some of the popular destinations within the park include Mudanda Rock; you can view a variety of animals at this park, which includes; elephant, lion, leopard, waterbuck, kudu, gerenuk, zebra, and Aruba Hunter’s hartebeest.

You will also observe the large herds of red elephants- they glow red due to the red dust of Tsavo. There are also about 500 species of birds, including the ostrich, and migratory birds like kestrels and buzzards.

Mombasa/Nairobi to Tsavo East Today we shall pick you up from Airport/hotel in Nairobi at 08:00am  and drive to Tsavo East national park to arrive in time for lunch at the tented camp or lodge of your choice. You will later have your first game drive in the afternoon in this park which covers approximately forty percent of the total area of all Kenya’s National Parks. It is credited as one of the world’s leading biodiversity strongholds, and its terrain provides perfect game-safari territory and is renowned for its large numbers of elephants and the famous man eating lions and Aruba dam. Destination: Tsavo East National Park. Travel Time: 3 to 4 hrs. (185 Km) from Mombasa Accommodation: Inside T.East National Park Complementaries: Drinking water on Meals: Lunch & dinner (Breakfast not included)
Tsavo East to Tsavo West Rise up early to enjoy an early morning game drive before returning back to the lodge in time for breakfast followed by check out. Depart for Tsavo West National Park, with a relaxed mid-morning game en-route. The Park offers tremendous views with diverse habitats, ranging from mountains, river forest, plains, lakes and wooded grassland. Its plains borders with Tanzania. To ensure you get as much time as possible in the wilds of Africa, you will have a picnic lunch in the Tsavo West National Park. In the afternoon you will have an opportunity to visit rhino sanctuary before returning to your camp or lodge to freshen up then enjoy a sumptuous Dinner and overnight stay. Tsavo West to Nairobi/Mombasa Today after breakfast, bid Tsavo West bye and proceed with Game en-route drive out of Tsavo West and drive to Mombasa which is less than 5 hrs drive. On your way you will visit the Mzima Springs, have a nature walk around the area and get to marvel at sparkling clear water with more game viewing. Drop off to your hotel in Mombasa North coast or Diani south coast or if headed to Nairobi  at the Airport. You will arrive Mombasa to your hotel around lunch time. No Accommodation on this last day Travel Time to Mombasa: 3 to 4 hrs. (205 Km) Meals: Breakfast and Lunch (No Dinner)
